The Chief Less Followed...

Legendary skateboarder and founder of Black Box distribution responds to a little bit of heat on his Instagram yesterday. The chief announced that the Fallen Footwear video The Road Less Traveled is premiering on the Transworld site this weekend.  When we saw this we were devastated. In this age of skateboarding parts and videos that come out online are quickly forgotten. And seeing as the video follows the Fallen team around the world you can assume a lot of money went into this project. In the screenshot below we voiced our opinion on the subject on the Chief's Instagram. I'll admit I exaggerated about half the team quitting but two star players did recently leave, Billy Marks and Jimmy Carlin. Now they were sent across the globe to film for this video just to leave the company before the video drops. Now there's a waste of money. Jamie reveals though, with a respond to our comment that the video will be released on iTunes and DVD. Good luck with that by the way. You're giving the video for free online and then expect people to pay for it later? Hmmm doesn't seem like good business management to me. The Chief shortly after deleted ours and his comments as well as blocked us on Instagram. Way to look like an ass Jamie.  Anyways check it out for yourselves. Personally I just want to see Tommy Sandoval and Jon Dickson's footy.

And now what you really cared to know, Chris Cole places second in street league. When it comes to sellout league, sorry stupid auto-correct, I mean street league there is only one question that needs to be asked after every contest,"Who got 2nd?" Fuck that, I'm focusing my stoke back on the vert results (which would be chill if I didn't have to hear Tony Hawk blatantly use the term Gaytwist repeatedly). Lets throw it back to '96 when the street contest was practically a vert ramp anyways. Skateboarding has never been so predictable. Where can I get my Nyjah Monster Energy jersey with matching Element deck? Is Zumies still open?

Copenhagen Pro 2013

Once again skate politics reigns over raw skateboarding. At Copenhagen pro this week the street league posse came through to sweep up the money. CPH PRO is one of the only contests some of the best pros, that didn't sell their souls to street league or Monster had a chance at winning. I watched up close and personal as Joseph Scott Jatta and Evan Smith killed the competition with their grand finale of a heat. Yet 1st, 2nd and 3rd went to Shane O'Neill, Luan Oliveira, and Sean Malto. Not that these guys didn't skate well but raw skating comes before robots in my book any day. And Shane O'Neill takes home probably the smallest contest purse in skateboarding today with $10,000 I'm sure his check from Monster will double that at the end of the month.

Roskilde Festival 2013 (welcome to The Sesh Life)

Some mornings I wake up not knowing where the fuck I am or how the hell I ended up sleeping there, I'm sure you've had you're mornings of dry throats, dehydration, and similar confusion.  Well in a recent situation as described I awoke in a tent with the faint sound of house music playing in the distance and my best friend asleep in a sleeping bag next to me.  This is Roskilde.
Only the second morning and my recently acquired Danish friends are talking to me in broken english about the chick dressed in a panda onesie I fucked the night before. I recall going back to her tent and getting straight to business as, what I assumed were her camp mates, yell things at our tent.  I have no idea what they're saying because it's in Danish, so i'm goin' for it.  It's trippy to me as I realize my situation, hooking up with a panda in a tent at a Danish music festival where, to my knowledge at the time, I may be the only American. This is the first casual sex I've engaged in where I don't plan on ever seeing this panda again let alone remembering its name.

It was a crazy fucking way to start off the week let alone my first trip out of the United States. Very warm welcoming to Denmark if you catch my drift.  Anyways this is the Sesh Life, welcome.  this is for all the ordinary mother fuckers out there who have some dumb ideas and some fucking brilliant ideas.  For all the stoners, all the underage drinkers, skateboarders, kids and young adults.  Get out there and get yourself into these situations because that's what you need in life.  Remember life is always a Sesh, be it a skate sesh, smoke sesh, chill sesh, bro sesh, girlfriend sesh, or panda sesh.  Allow me to formally welcome you to The Sesh Life.
